Rachel Heidenry

Digital Project Manager

Mission-driven and a natural leader, Rachel brings a creative lens to project management.

A decade of managing exhibitions and educational programming in nonprofit art museums energized my love of storytelling through both traditional and digital media. Today, as a Digital Project Manager at Oomph, I care deeply about helping organizations share their mission with a wider audience through digital platforms.

Curating and managing large-scale art exhibitions helped develop my skills in ideation and concepting — not to mention breaking down complex projects into clear tasks. It also gave me experience collaborating with a wide variety of people, from K-12 students to artists and museum trustees.

The pandemic led me to reconceptualize my educational programs as virtual offerings. Soon after, my eye for art and design (and love of color-coded calendars) set me on a path toward managing tech projects. Throughout my career, I’ve focused on maintaining great communication with both clients and colleagues, while keeping projects on time, on budget, and exceptionally well-organized.

In my free time, I enjoy exploring new cities, gallery hopping with friends, and writing about emerging art. Most weekends, you can find me taking hikes with my family around Santa Barbara.
