Anthony Sims

DevOps experts like Anthony are the fuel in our fire, helping us deliver high-performance solutions.

In over 10 years of working with web hosting and infrastructure, I’ve helped a wide variety of clients achieve one common goal: building speedy and stable digital platforms. Like most DevOps Engineers, I enjoy technical analysis, problem solving, and mastering new technologies. Unlike some, I also bring performance tuning to the table.

Much of my work is in LAMP (Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP), a time-tested stack used by many open source developers to build custom web apps. By focusing on performance tuning in the development process, I help ensure the apps we build at Oomph are stable, scalable, serviceable, and fast. Supporting teammates and clients with specialized knowledge and creative solutions is important to me and a crucial part of my DevOps role.

Constant learning keeps me at the top of my game. I was recently among the first graduating cohort of Holberton School Tulsa’s Full Stack Web Development specialization, which focuses on the most in-demand frontend and backend frameworks. I've always got a couple of personal coding projects going on the side, too — for when I’m not working on music production or tinkering with DIY electronics. Spare time? What’s that?
