Unbiased Comments for Drupal
Drupal offers a ton of functionality right out of the box, but sometimes the situation calls for a module that doesn’t exist yet. The Unbiased Comments module was born from one of these times. Though not yet hosted on Drupal.org’s project list, we hope that it will be soon because, like many contributed modules, it has potential to save other site owners from having to reinvent the wheel.
Unbiased Comments allows an administrator to hide previously posted comments from new visitors – at least until they post a comment of their own. The idea is that visitors to a site may be influenced by other’s opinions and to get more objective feedback visitors should post their feedback first, then read what others contributed to the discussion.
Administrators can choose what roles and what content this module should affect. Additionally, settings are available to hide comments completely or just mask them so that visitors can get a sense of how much discussion a post is getting. After publishing their first comment, all other comments will be revealed.
